Video of Sprinter Valeri Borzov 100 meters, Olympic Champion

Valeri Borzov is the double gold medalist in the 100 meters and 200 meters at the 1972 Olympics in Munich. He also won a silver medal in the 4×100 meter relay.
In the 1976 Olympics in Montreal, he added 2 bronze medals in the 100 meters and 4×100 meter relay.
He retired in 1979 due to injuries which prevented him from competing in the 1980 Olympics in Moscow.

Check out what others are saying about this post...[...] So who is Marian Woronin? I’ve searched a lot of archives, and all I could find was this quarter-final race. Techically, he pops up after 5 strides, and he eases the last 20 meters to coast in a 10.28 seconds. But the man is smooth, very similar to Valeri Borzov! [...]
