World Masters Athletics 2007 - M40 200 meters Heat 12

When you have over 81 entrants, 4 qualifying rounds are required by the IAAF. With 89 declared competitors, we had 12 heats where the top 3 places and 4 fastest times (i.e. “3P4T”) advanced to the Quarter-Final round of 40 athletes.

Enrico Saraceni is the 2005 WMA Champion in the 200 meters and 400 meters. He also hold the current world record for the M40 400 meters (47.81). He narrowly missed a 3rd gold medal in the 100 meters, losing to Anthony Noel of GBR (10.74 vs. 10.79).

In this race, the tall Italian makes it look so easy running out of lane 4.
