Download YouTube Videos to Your iPod with Tooble
January 17, 2008 by Jimson Lee
If you use iTunes, you can now download YouTube Videos to your iPod using iTunes and Tooble.tv
Who the heck is Tooble.tv?
Tooble.tv is a free software that lets you watch YouTube videos on your iPod. It has always been possible but Tooble makes the whole process extremely simple even for beginners or non-tech savvy people..
I already discussed How to Save YouTube and Blip.tv files for your iPod or computer , How to Convert YouTube video to Blip.tv without downloading to your hard drive, and How to View YouTube FLV files with Adobe Media Player.
Tooble.tv will automatically download your favorite videos from YouTube and converts them to MP4 format.
The converted YouTube videos are then imported into your iTunes library so the next time you plug-in and synchronize your iPod, the YouTube videos are automatically transferred from the computer to the iPod.
It is not limited only to iPods; you can also consider using Tooble for watching YouTube videos on your computer using any media player that supports MP4 such as QuickTime or Nero 7 software. (Did I mention all athletes carry an iPod?)
Tooble is currently available only for Mac. But don’t worry, rumour has it a Windows version is coming. Sadly, I don’t think a Linux version is coming out anytime.
