Having shot in the European Masters Championships and being placed 1st woman compound, I was quite surprised when viewing archery categories for the World Masters Championships. It appears that as both my husband and I are over 60 we are unable to shoot in the type and distance competitions in which we normally compete. Are we in fact restricted to these short distaces or can we elect to shoot in the longer distances? There are a number of archers of our age over here in Europe who are considering shooting in these Championships provided they can shoot the full FITA distances as we do over here all the time.

Coming back to Sydney to compete in the cycling. I can recommend a fabulous area for all of you who are competing the sailing or cycling. Potts Point is right between the cycling and the sailing venues. It has great cafes restaurants and a large selection of hotels. Google Potts Point Sydney for more details. I stayed at The Maisonette Hotel which is a neat tidy little guesthouse.
