Dwayne Jarrett 4.62 40 Yard Dash
April 10, 2008 by Jimson Lee
The 2008 NFL Draft is around the corner.
I recall last year when Dwayne Jarrett ran a 4.62 and a 4.67 40-yard dash at USC’s 2007 Pro Day.
Dwayne was drafted in the 2nd round (45th overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers, and the eighth receiver selected.
He was originally projected as a first-round pick, but do you think his ranking fell because of a poor 40 yard dash?
Here is the video on YouTube and you can decide.

Got something to say?

Boy that is a terrible way to start a 40. How do they expect someone that tall with long limbs to get moving from such an awkward stance?
His stock feel because it was one piece that indicated that he may be just a good college receiver.
And let us not forget Mike Williams.
Has any of the USC receivers done well in the pros of late?
@adarian - I think Dwayne’s stigma or dogma is his constant comparison to Mike Williams!
