Darren McFadden 4.27 40 Yard Dash
April 19, 2008 by Jimson Lee
Darren McFadden ran a reported 4.27 on his 40 Yard Dash NFL football combine.
Here’s the video on YouTube, though it only shows a head on view and not a side view, which is my preference.
Here’s a clip from ESPN on YouTube from a game between Arkansas vs South Carolina in 2007. It shows a McFadden 80 Yard TD and you can see for yourself how fluid he is, both acceleration and top end speed. I wonder how fast D-Mac can run a 60 or 100 meters?

Got something to say?

My Raiders were lucky enough to grab him at No. 4 as the top 3 teams picking in the draft were boxed in due to their priorities for position players. The Raiders wanted him from the beginning so they got their cake. Let’s see if they’ll be able to properly utilize his enormous talents and help them get out of the bottom of the league rankings. The Raiders now have arguably the best quarterback and the best running back from the last two drafts. However, everybody has been waiting for a long time for Al Davis to vanish so that we can reestablish ourselves in the football world. He must be a vampire.
@Fred - yes, the first 3 were looking for position players.
RE: Al Davis - yes, I lived in the Bay Area for several years and it was a contrast to go to a Raiders vs 49er’s game. I can relate to your comments.
