Some Great 4×400 Relays this Weekend
April 28, 2008 by Jimson Lee
The 4×400 meter relay is arguably the most exciting event in Track and Field.
This weekend was no exception.
The Oregon Relays
Check out the number of lead changes in this 4×400m video hosted by Runnerspace. We are so use to seeing USA dominate (annihilate?) the competition at International meets.
University of Washington phenom Jordan Boase takes the anchor leg, but as Irving Berlin would sing, “Anything Goes!”
The Penn Relays
This race is part of the 2008 Championship of Americas races at the Penn Relays. The last event is #253 in your program, the Boys High School 4×400 Final.
Take a look at this video on FloTrack and you’ll understand why Penn Relays with the Jamaicans and all the high school athletes in America makes this one of the premier track meets in the country.
You can go to either site to see all the action stored on the archives. Who needs TV these days?
