2008 NCAA Mens 4×400 Relay - Baylor almost Sub 3

June 16, 2008 by Jimson Lee

I love it when College guys produce a time fast enough to win an Olympic medal.

Even more impressive when the team are all from the same school.

Baylor come to mind, right?

Yes and No.

The NCAA Meet record and College “world record” was set by the 2005 LSU team in 2:59.59 with Reginald Dardar, Kelly Willie, Bennie Brazell and Xavier Carter.

This year, Baylor won the Mens 4×400 relay in 3:00.22 with a roster of Marcus Boyd (FR), Justin Boyd (SR), LeJerald Betters (SO ) and Quentin Iglehart-Summers (JR).

Texas A&M came 2nd and Kentucky 3rd.
