Jeremy Wariner’s Adidas Lone Star Spikes
August 5, 2008 by Jimson Lee

The Olympics isn’t about the athletes or countries competing for gold, silver and bronze.
Pierre de Coubertin quoted “The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not winning but taking part; the essential thing in life is not conquering but fighting well”
The Olympics is also about corporate sponsors winning market share. Gatorade vs. Powerade (or Coke vs Pepsi to be exact).
Especially NIKE and ADIDAS.
I posted Asafa Powell Zoom Aerofly NIKE Spikes already.
In this video, Adidas innovation team leader Mic Lussier explains the designs behind one of those shoes, Jeremy Wariner’s Lone Star Spike.
