More on the Nike Zoom Victory Spikes

September 26, 2008 by Jimson Lee · 3 Comments

Over the past year, we’ve seen a lot of talk of elite middle distance athletes such as Alan Webb with the Nike Zoom Victory + Track and Field shoes as well as the Nike Zoom Victory Spikes.

These spikes are ideal for track distances 800 meters and up, and will be available October 1, 2008.

Here is a quick Executive overview:

Nike’s lightest mid-distance spike ever made. The ultimate spike for 800m to 10,0000m races on synthetic track surfaces.

  • Upper: High strength Flywire technology works to minimize overlays and lock the shoe to the foot
  • Midsole: Compression-molded Flashlon foam for a lightweight, responsive foot strike
  • Upper plate: New Zoom Miler plate design for added comfort and traction on the track

I bought these spikes for my boy, on the 12/1/09 he runs 800m up
    what a good spikes
Only one thing that made me very disappionted is that, the top part is made of a sail that I think is very durable, because it got hook, on the fisrt race, for the price the we pay here in S. A.. maybe you can think of a stronger material.

Otherwise he is enjoying this spikes very much.
    thank you
    Magda
