SpeedEndurance.com Delivered to your Email Inbox as a PDF Newsletter

Tabbloid is a web service from Hewlett-Packard that delivers your daily Blog (or Blogs) as a print-ready Adobe PDF attachment. This FREE service is handy when you are in a foreign country and they block access to your favorite Blog.

This is similar to Feedburner’s Subscribe to Daily Email service (see sign up box on the right), but the formatting is nicer.

The service works just like any other feed reader like Google Reader or NewsGator. Just add a list of your favorite feeds, choose how frequently that email should be delivered (hourly, daily or weekly) and confirm your email address. A double opt-in is required.

Your feeds will land in your Email InBox as a PDF file that is formatted like a 2 column magazine. Printing is an option.

As well, you can generate PDF files from RSS feeds in real-time which may again come handy if you want to print a blog to read on paper media rather than using a computer or laptop screen. Very handy for reading on the stationary bike, or the Men’s room.

The quirks:

  1. The first newsletter will be the last 10 articles, then only one per day (or custom settings)
  2. All images, ads, and hyperlinks will be stripped
  3. The link to the original article remains intact.
