LaShawn Merritt and Jeremy Wariner continue to avoid each other as the match up to Berlin comes to a climax.
This video is a textbook 400 meter sprinting at its finest. The HQ quality shows good form and rhythm from most of the athletes, including the winner LaShawn Merritt.
Ever notice the 400 meter winner smiles for the camera, while the other 7 runners are keeling over for oxygen?
Take a look at Jamaal Torrance in Lane 2 running dangerously close to the line.
David Gillick in Lane 3 in the yellow jersey makes a great move on the 3rd 100 meter segment. Most 400 meter races are won lost on this curve.
