In the next 8 weeks, Matt Bogdanowicz will be submitting his training log for his world record attempt in the 30 minute pull-ups on October 27. You can read his log here on Speedendurance.com.

Training Log 30 minute World Record by Matt Bogdanowicz

Sunday, October 14

120 weighted pull ups
4,440 lbs. Total
Tendon at elbow, sore. Ice 20 minutes

Tuesday, October 16

  • 6:00 minutes – Total: 101
  • 4:00 recovery between
  • 6:00 minutes – Total: 90 (avg per minute between 13 and 17 reps)
  • 3:00 recovery
  • 3:00 Total: 50 pull ups
  • 2:00 rest
  • 2:00 31 pull ups

    Total: 272 reps, or Average 16 per minute

    Thursday, October 18

    3x :30 second speed pull ups with 30 second rest between

    All sets of 22 for total of 66

    Followed by 10 sets of general back exercises: 10 to 15 reps medium resistance.

    Ice tendon 20 Minutes… very sore
