Olympics - Fighting Well This is what the Olympics are all about.

Below is one of my favourite pictures from the Olympics.

The motto is a classic:

"The important thing in the Olympic Games is not winning but taking part.
The essential thing in life is not conquering but fighting well"

– Pierre de Coubertin

AllPosters.com used to carry this poster, but has been discontinued.

I tried Amazon.com but I don’t know the name of the poster or the photographer.

It’s probably an AP syndicated photo.

If anyone knows where you can buy this poster or print, please comment below.

About the Olympic Motto poster…If you capture the image on disc, you should be able to go to a computerized commercial photo shop and have them blow it up to almost any size, with a choice of several papers and even linen canvas! We did this recently for a family reunion with older photos. Very reasonably priced, but not as cheap as a poster print. You have to also figure S&H with online or mail orders + time. Not cheap at all!!!!!
    Good luck, Jimson.

PS: Are you still on the left/west coast or are you in Ottawa area now?

@Jeffrey – thanks for the tip. I don’t mind spending a few bucks to give credit where credit is due.

As far a living is concerned, would you believe I live in Rome, Italy right now?
