In the 2011 “Meeting de Montreuil”, Yohan Blake wins the 100 meters in 9.95 seconds but Christophe Lemaître steals the show establishing a new French record of (9.96) just one hundredths of a second faster than his previous best he established 29 August, 2010 in Rieti.  Daniel Bailey took 3rd place in (10.00), and Dwain Chambers finishes 4th(10.09).

This is a National Record, U23 European Record, and Personal Best for Christophe Lemaître.

The 2011 World Championships will be very interesting.

Is Chris, listed at 6’2½”, really only 160lbs you think??? How heavy is Bolt now by your estimates? At 6’4″-6’5″, he was, in his early days, listed as 165lbs, but no way anymore!!!!

@Eric, sometimes the IAAF uses “old” profiles so they are probably 10lb heavier than listed. Bolt says he is lighter, but bigger. At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is the stopwatch (and podium step)

It’s still a long way to Worlds in Daegu. A very long way.
