Every 12 years, the Dragon has to be the most popular Chinese animal made famous by the 1985 Mickey Rourke movie (not to be confused with the 1972 Bruce Lee movie, Way of the Dragon, and the famous Rome Coliseum fight with Chuck Norris).
So January 23, 2012 marks the Chinese New Year, the year of the Dragon.
