Adidas has come out with 2 spike models for 2102.

There is the lower priced Men’s adiZero Prime Accelerator, and the higher priced adiZero Prime SP.

Both are available at Eastbay.

adidas adiZero Prime Accelerator

adidas adiZero Prime Accelerator

The adidas adiZero Prime Accelerator track spike is designed for the 100 to 400 meters.

Welded, stitchless composite membrane upper with suede inner frame and Sprint Web overlay.

Sprint frame supports the foot and transfers the power through the superlight chassis to the track. TPU plate provides lightweight performance and durability.

Replaceable spikes. Non-removable insole.

Comes with 1/4″ pyramid spikes and a wrench. Weight 5.4 oz. (153 grams)

List price: $87.99

adidas adiZero Prime SP

adidas adiZero Prime SP

The adidas adiZero Prime SP track spike features a SPRINTWEB seamless upper that is designed using a laminate composite to lock the foot down during the event-specific motion of high-level acceleration while maintaining a barefoot feel.

Laser-welded Spaceframe in the midfoot provides maximum support using geometry. Reduces bending through two independent pieces welded together to create a plate that is stiffer than the actual materials used to construct it. adiZero Nano plate transfers power through the whole foot while reducing torque on the midfoot to maximize energy return. Plate minimizes weight while giving the maximum energy output elite sprinters seek.

Six permanent nano-ceramic compression pins are positioned to minimize braking forces and support greater propulsive impulse for accrued speed. Integrating the pins into the shoe allows the foot to be closer to the track.

Recommended for 60m, 100m, 200m, 4x100m and 110 hurdles.

Removable insole. Weight 3.8 oz. (107 grams)

List Price: $159.99
