Dates for the event is the 8-10th of November, 2013! The seminar starts 16:15 at Friday 8th (registration possible from 14:00) and ends at 12:30 Sunday 10th (followed by Lunch at 12:45). This is the second time it is held in Falun (about 250km northwest of Stockholm, Sweden)

Prof Juri Hanin FIN
Yuri Hanin, Professor Emeritus in sports psychology at the Research Institute for Olympic Sports (KIHU) in Jyväskylä, Finland. He has developed the Identification-Control Correction (ICC) program to optimize the technique and manage the athletes competition for athletes at different levels. He has also done research on how emotions affect the athlete and is author of the book Emotions in sport. Juri Hanin has worked with athletes at world level in many sports for a very long time and also been able to transform the research into hands on work with athletes.

Toni Minichiello UK
Toni is the long time coach of Jessica Ennis. Toni will share his experiences from the multi-event training and the effect it has on developing the long jump and the hurdles. This is a short article about Toni in the The Telegraph
Rana Reider US/UK
Rana is probably most known as the coach of triple jumper Christian Taylor USA, World champion 2011 and 2012 Olympic champion. He also coach the long jumper Sara Proctor, the bronze medalist at 100m hurdles 2013 World Championships, Moscow and a high performance group of sprinters. Rana moved to UK in 2012 to work with the UK Athletics. He is the UK head coach sprint/hurdles and horizontal jumps. Here is my interview with Rana.
Prof Janusz Iskra POL
Janusz Iskra is Professor at the Academy Of Physical Education In Katowice, Poland and has been a trainer for a number of successful Polish hurdler eg. European champion in the 400m hurdles Pawel Januszewski. He has published numerous articles on the subject hurdles, below you will find links to some of his work.

Prof Dave Collins UK
Dave Collins is a professor of psychology at the University of Central Lancashire. He has worked with elite active in a number of sports as a consultant in sportspsychology. He also has experience of coaching at international level at the game of Rugby. Diligent writer of articles and books. Former performance director of UK Athletics.

Dr Jenny Jakobsson SWE
In her doctoral thesis Jenny looked at injury epidemiology in athletics and the possible reasons for the relatively high injury rate among young and older athletes found in the studies. Jenny will be speaking about her experiences with the Swedish national Athletic team as a physio and her research work to improve the coach ability to reduce injuries among their athletes.

Oskar Gidewall SWE
Oscar is the mastermind behind Michel Tornueus successes as international long jumper. Oscar coaches a wide range of evens in athletics. Educated at The Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences, Stockholm. Oscar will lecture about his coaching in the horizontal jumps.
Nils Holmdahl SWE
Nils is a professional strength and condition coach working with volleyball, basket, handball and ice hockey teams. Having a background as a coach in athletics he started using the work of the Russian researcher Yuri Verkhoshansky’s in the beginning of eighties. Read more about Nils and his work on his site plyotruth.com. Nils will lecture and have practical training based on his experiences from Yuri Verkhoshansky’s research.
