- Jimson attended Graduate level courses in Exercise Physiology while earning his degree at McGill (B.Sc. Physiology)
- He was the Assistant Sprints and Jumps Coach for the McGill University Track Team (1986-92) except for 1989-90 where he served as the Assistant Coach for Track and Field
- While in the USA, he is a certified USATF Level 1.
- Jimson provides phone and email consultations to athletes that includes Masters Sprinters in Boston to Marathoners in the Bay Area!
- In Vancouver, BC he was the coach and President at Metro Athletic Club During this time, the club produced 2 International athletes: 100m sprinter Nathan Taylor with a Bronze medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games for Canada’s 4x100m and Bobsledder Steve Larson who finished 18th at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino.
