I am a firm believer where you can never stop learning.
I’ve promoted (and attended) several Track and Field conferences such as the latest offerings from the USATF, CACC, and UKA. As well, I also recommend books and DVDs from Amazon and Affiliates.
USTFCCCA Track & Field Academy in another great resource for coaches to enhance their knowledge which includes both Track & Field and Cross Country.
Some of their coaches and presenters include Gary Winckler for Sprints, Hurdles and Relays; Boo Schexnayder, for the jumping events; and Mike Young from Elite Track and HPC Sport for Sport Sciences.
With the USTFCCCA, you can take a course for a certification, or you can take an individual course for a specialized event. Currently, the USTFCCCA represents over 8,000 coaches working in the NCAA, NAIA, and high schools nationwide. It serves as an advocate and lobbyist for coaches and their interests, and provides a leadership structure to assist the needs of a diverse membership.
