Last week, I discussed “speed drills” or “form drills” with Gerard Mach.

I want to flashback to December 2007 where I had the chance to meet with Clyde Hart at the USATF NPEP in Las Vegas.

There are several sources of free Clyde Hart videos on the web, and until recently, those were your only sources.

But now you can buy Clyde Hart’s entire 6 DVDs (4 box set) from Championship Productions.

Back to the free stuff…

Clyde Hart Sprint Drills

Take a look at the 30 minute drills session below.  Note the use of the speed ladders (or agility ladders).

Also, note how his H drill (at the 17:30 mark of the video) closely resembles a Gerard Mach “Power Speed mixed” drill.  You can read the history of Gerard Mach and his influence on the Canadian Coaching system in my 2007 article.

The video & sound quality is “as is” as the University of Las Vegas Nevada (UNLV) campus is on the landing path for the airport. Every five minutes or so a plane would land making Coach Hart inaudible.  Sorry, but free is free.
