2021 International Festival of Athletics Coaching [Nov 5-7]

October 31, 2021 by Jimson Lee Leave a Comment

The 2021 International Festival of Athletics Coaching will be fully online & virtual this year.

We really tried hard to make this an in-person event this year in Padua, Italy, but the Coronavirus situation is not making this any easier.

Registrations are for free to all EACA members so if you’re not a member yet join EACA.

Conference’s days are from November 5th to 7th and there will be seven sessions:

  • Session 1: “Target24”
  • Session 2: “Learning to Learn”
  • Session 3: “Partners in Excellence”
  • Session 4: “The Bridge To Excellence”
  • Session 5: “Recovery Strategies”
  • Session 6: “The Italian Job”
  • Session 7: “Performance Ready”

Session 1 will be Friday night, Sessions 2-3-4 Saturday, and 5-6-7 Sunday.

Note that Session 1 (Target 24) will be 8 concurrent breakout sessions, so if you’re familiar with Zoom, you can jump in and out of a breakout session, just like a real conference.

And yes, the sessions will be recorded.

If you’re familiar with the Tokyo Olympics, Paralympics, or World Junior “Zoom sessions”, we will have the same style of panels with QA where (your truly) will be moderating them. All 13 sessions are below:

Please watch out for Daylight Savings Time ending as the UK & EU are now on Standard time, with North America joining on early Sunday morning.
