2008 USATF Masters Champs Videos – Mens 200m

August 14, 2008 by Jimson Lee Leave a Comment

The 2008 USATF Masters Championships were held in Spokane, WA from Aug 7-10.

The usual suspects came out (as usual) in the Mens 200m.

Stephen Robbins bettered the listed world M65 200m record in 25.36 (-0.8w) seconds. Earlier this year he posted a pending world record time of 25.20 seconds, with both times bettering the listed W65 world record of 25.46 seconds by Guido Muller of Germany from 2005.

How do you film the entire race when he runs? He annihilates the competition. My wide angle lens only covers so much.

In the M55 race, you can actually see a false start that wasn’t called back.

I’m glad to see Rod Jett recover from his 400 meter hurdle crash.

Also noteworthy: 91 year old Lucius Bulkley ran 50.95 seconds! Call me in 50 years to see if I can break 1 minute!
