Omega 3-6-9 for weight management: A Cardiosterol approach

Overweight people in today’s modern society are quite often starving for a certain kind of fat. Because eating habits have changed so dramatically in the past century, our bodies are deficient in the Omega-3, Omega-6 and Omega-9 essential fatty acids (EFA), while they contain excessive amounts of the harmful hydrogenated fats, trans fatty acids, and saturated fats. Some medical studies show that our diets today have only from one-sixteenth to one-twentieth the amount of Omega-3 fats that they contained a hundred years ago. At the same time, we are eating twenty to one hundred times as much hydrogenated fats and trans fatty acids.

After adding one to two tablespoons a day of flax seed oil to their diets and eliminating poisonous fats, they have lost cravings for fatty foods and have experienced continued weight loss, increased energy, and a sense of dietary satisfaction.

When the body is deficient in the Omega-3, Omega-6 and Omega-9 fatty acids, it continuously sends a message to the brain, saying, “FAT! I NEED FATS!” Because most of us can’t distinguish between the various types of fats, and until recently, the right kinds of fats were not even available, the more we consume the wrong kinds of fats, the greater the imbalance and deficiency of the right kind of fats becomes.

There are five main physical factors involved in weight management, whether one is concerned with being underweight or overweight. They are:

  1. Metabolism
  2. Diet
  3. Nutrition
  4. Exercise
  5. Disease

A malfunctioning metabolism is often the main cause of the overweight or underweight condition. However, it can be corrected through proper diet, nutrition, exercise, and the healing of any diseases that influence weight.

Although starvation-thin figures are the rage among today’s models, a modicum of fat is beneficial, as it provides extra fuel during times of hard work, travel, and other stressful occasions when it may be difficult to eat well. A little extra fat on our figures also helps to keep blood sugar stable, provides warmth, and insulates our organs from injury. However, being seriously overweight can damage one’s health and contribute to many serious diseases and conditions including:

Heart Disease, High Cholesterol, High Blood Pressure, Hypothyroidism, Arthritis, Cancer, Diabetes, Constipation, Varicose Veins, Anorexia, Bulimia, Candida, Cellulite,
Fatigue, and PMS.

Many people have found that a good nutrition and exercise program that enables them
to lose excess weight will also create a substantial increase in energy, and alleviate associated health problems.

Popular diets often recommend eliminating all fats to lose weight. While limiting some fats is highly recommended, eliminating all fats can lead to nutritional deficiencies and serious health problems. Millions upon millions of people especially women are unknowingly causing severe damage to their health from poorly conceived weight-loss programs that eliminate key fats from the diet. Millions of unborn children will be condemned to a lifetime of suffering from ill-developed brain, immune and nervous systems caused by their mother’s dietary deficiency of Omega-3, 6 and 9 fatty acids and the toxic effects of trans fatty acids, free radicals, and other poisonous substances in their consumption of refined oils.

Fats that should be eliminated from the diet are the chemically altered fats found in commercial margarines, shortenings, cooking and salad oils, and processed foods. Decreasing the amount of animal fats is also important. The EFAs in Omega-3, Omega-6 and Omega-9 help to properly metabolize other fats and prevent the building of plaque in
the arteries.

Although some EFAs can be obtained from fish, the best source and manner to make sure that one is getting the right amount of omega 3, 6 and 9 is purchasing capsules containing at least 50mg of each omega from your local pharmacy; omega 3-6-9 that is made in France is also a guarantee for yourself when you are buying a good, pharmaceutical quality food supplement.

Cardiosterol capsules with Omega 3-6-9 also contians shark liver oil that apart from having omegas also have immunomodulatory properties. Cardiosterol should be taken not only by people who have cholesterol problems but mainly by people that do not have any problems. Healthy individuals have less risk to have any problems in their cardiovascular system if they continue to supplement their body with Cardiosterol capsules.
